I heard about absinthe from a Highlander episode. I happened to look in a specialty wine store and found a few bottles. I couldn’t believe it. I thought it was illegal. I told my dad that when he visits in May, I’ll buy a bottle and we’ll try it. Now, where do I find sugar cubes….

Dear Dad

The last time I had a drink with dad he was six feet under. I poured his beer where his mouth should be and left the empties as evidence.
