What a great day!
A jaunt to Yesterdogs at work to try out the famous Grand Rapid’s restaurant.
Free hot dogs at the vetran’s home.
I went to a flag ceremony with my son and we placed flags on veteran’s graves. With hundreds of Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts it only took about 15 minutes to cover the entire cemetery.
We saw a B25 flyover as well as a quick peak at a blackhawk helicopter.
My son talked with a World War Vet. There aren’t too many of them around and I was hoping my son would meet one.
Ice Cream at McDonald’s with my son.
A nature walk with my son after that.

This is the first

time that I’ve put flags on Veteran’s graves. Last year I stayed home while my family did this as I was preparing for a procedure.
