find at least one thing each day that makes me happy and record it everyday for a year (read all 224 entries…)

My happy moment today has got to be finding out that there’s a sequel to one of my favourite books out in November!!! The excitement! I actually can’t wait for it now! Am tempted to preorder but must restrain myself and see if it comes to the library first! :-)

which book?

I am looking for book recommendations for one of my goals – do you care to share?

I’ve been reading Dean Koontz novels and enjoyed all I have read till now. Have you read his works?

No I don’t think I have ever read anything by him before. Thanks for the reccommendation, I’ll have a look in the library!

Hey!

Sorry for slow response! The books called Ultraviolet by R.J Anderson. I really love it! It’s about a girl who has been put into a mental asylum for young people and believes she has killed a girl at her school and ‘made her disintegrate’. She can taste and feel words and noises and thinks she’s going crazy. I won’t ruin it for you but at the end there’s a bit of a sci-fi type twist. I’m not normally into sci-fi but this book is truly amazing! I got it out of my local library but it’s available on amazon quite cheaply! Another brilliant book is Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman which is set in an alternate world where white people the noughts are second class citizens ruled by the crosses, black people. A nought boy falls in love with a cross girl and a lot happens that I won’t ruin for you. The endings really sad but it’s a really thought provoking addictive read.
