I can't tell

if you’re asking me or HP. Sorry if I’m answering a question that was meant for someone else!

I did try to read it, but I didn’t finish it. That was a long time ago, when I was quite depressed and found it difficult to concentrate. Have you read it? If so, what did you think?

I'm

using my mobile phone so may have clicked into the wrong comment to reply to but meant to ask you wren. I think I also tried reading it but did not complete it. But at a certain point in time (mid 70s) at least among the people I associated with then it was the book to read.

yes,

it was also very popular among the people I knew in the 80s. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who couldn’t finish it.

And

How is your preparation going for Paris? All packed?

haha!

I’m going to wait another week or so.

Right now I’m working on learning French. I need to commit to one teaching program and make a commitment (meaning, spend some money). I’m going to reserve and apartment and look into airline tickets soon. When I last tried to look, it was too far in advance Oh, and I’ve located someone who can come stay in hour house and take care of Becca & Elbee while we’re away. It’s been a long time since I traveled without a dog.
