Can’t describe to you how much of a real sense of fulfilment & pride I have!.. I finally got my own apt this year! After saving much $ from my own pocket & of course some loan from e govt :-)..
By the Singapore standard, I’m not rich btw :(
That’s also to say, I’m leading a very simple and moderate lifestyle here..I don’t own any car here (It’s considered the most expensive place on earth to own a car here->since e mid 80s) and I do take public transport to places.
Well I understood this logic long ago that cars do depreciate, but not likely on property! What’s the most important thing in life is to have a permanent ‘real’ roof over your head! That’s my greatest pride and joy, I own it!
