cut my own hair (read all 2 entries…)
I needed a change

Well I finally did it. After reading all of entries and help from Catlin : ) I decided to do it myself. I cut the length first and then did layers the next day. It took some time to get it right, but I like the results. I hope you do too. This is the before…..come inside for the after.

Well

My hair is down to my chin at the front of my head and 2 inches past my shoulders at the back of my head. Its not really thick but its not totally thin, in the middle of the 2, and i want to add layers to it as well as being able to sort the back out because it is uneven.

What do you suggest

There are a couple of ways to layer the back. You can cut the back like normal but take the sections and pull them up or elevate it 45 degrees and then cut. This will make the hair shorter to the top and longer on the bottom. Have you thought about doing an A frame cut???

If you have powerpoint I can send you the complete haircut. All you do is cut it shorter.
