Ah, the long hours we spent back in the day at the Olympic Center and those great Scan Home dances…

It was fun to see everyone. Thanks to Teresa for the Herculean effort. I’m back in San Francisco and will be following up with my Bay Area classmates for some mini-reunions (some of whom I didn’t even get a chance to chat with)... on a side note, Charol Morikawa’s husband swam to frickin’ Alcatraz! Just had to put that out there.

One more note: Please consider putting your personal contact info elsewhere. These forums are public and any psycho (Mark Forceskie) can find you.

If you like, we can start a West ‘86 Yahoo! Group (no offense to 43T, Dan!) where you have to subscribe to get in. That way at least it’s secure and you are known. I’ll set that up, if I can get a “Scan Home Rules” from someone.

Yeah, I was running all over Alaska yelling.

You have nothing to dig yourself out of. Never did I say anything about “funny looking”. I told him about a funny thread regarding Paul Giamatti (and I believe I ended up with Robert Plant’s hair).

Joe just wants to spar. He’s going off half-cocked with nothing but drunken, second-hand info, filtered again by his drunken, pugnacious terrier brain.

After all this time I know it’s just Joe’s way of being affectionate. He did ask to see the thread, but I think as an AOL user he has been unable to see anything on the web for about 7 years -this makes him all the more punchy.

Shelly Duvall is way off. Joe knows this. Again, pure affection.

I’ll set up a Yahoo! Group asap…

I did not see or hear you yelling in Alaska, not even once. Not even a peep.
Meanwhile, it looks like i have e-mailed my way out of that one with Joe, via the creaky AOL account. I actually caught Sideways again this weekend, and felt horrible, because Miles really was such a nerd. And it occured to me, should we not instead have photoshopped Scheffer’s face over the Thomas Hayden Church character? Again, I’m not saying anything about Scheffer or his character, or what he might do in certain situations, particularly after drinking, just a suggestion to do some recreational photoshopping?
