I wanted to give you a chance to settle in to the first week of school before writing back. How is school so far?

Your friends must be surprised at your being a smoker. Have you smoked with other people yet?

I was glad to hear that you chose Parliament. How did you decide on them? Some Parliament smokers stick with it as their permanent brand. (By the way, is that what you meant by picking a brand “for keeps”?) Other people then try other brands. I’m curious to know whether you started with the Lights or the Ultra Lights.

As for myself, Parliament is the only non menthol that I smoke. I’m still a closet smoker, except when I’m in another town. A little later this morning, I’ll be sneaking a Parliment menthol (full flavor) behind the Chinese restaurant where I live.

School comes first, but I hope to hear from you before long.
