eschew negativity
I eschew negativity in my life 3 years ago

I work part-time for a retail store, which is hard work and my workmates are constantly weirded out by the fact that I am always smiling. But what is the point of being negative?! The day passes faster and more pleasantly with a smile on one’s face.

What I find difficult is when negative people come in to my life. Sometimes you can ignore them, but sometimes you just can’t! Have to work on avoiding these sorts of people.

New personal goal: I refuse to let them bring me down!

Congrats

Good call.

It costs so little to be cheerful, smiling and polite and it (generally) has a good effect on those around you.

Thanks

Thanks Peter; it’s true. :)

How wonderful!

I wish I could do that!

You can!

I know, it can be hard at first. But I find that if I persevere in smiling anyway, often I can make myself positive. It gets easier with time too.

So, if you wish you could; do.

At least, you can add it to your 43things to do! :)

Marc Ambit is very proud of having been able to travel to Japan

but how?

I’ve been trying hard to keep positive when others come with an “inversed smile” over their faces, but I can’t find a way to cope with it.

You guys have any clue? Any tip?

Good luck and keep smiling!

Marc
