learn and use as much british slang as possible (read all 8 entries…)
i love 3 years ago

the use of ‘fancy’ as americans we don’t use it often and when it is used it’s usually in a playful manner to describe someone or thing that is all dressed up/made up/prettied up. But i love that the british use it way more often like ‘tidy’ and ‘proper’

Quite Posh, really

I am a confirmed anglophile. I started with Monty Python, Doctor Who, The Avengers (oh, Emma), and The Saint when I was a weean. I’ve been to Blithy about ….uh, three times. I love it.

Have you picked up much cockney rhythming slang, China?
