give my room a makeover

i’ve hung up a beautiful hammock i purchased in france, and a dream catcher, large as a dustbin lid. I’ve painted a tribal butterfly above the dream catcher and stuck song lyrics i love on my walls. i’ve also stuck coasters (yes, the ones we use for glasses)bearing pictures of paris as well as a black and white photo of the Eiffel, surrounded by a red frame. Ive also stuck a bunch of ying yangs on the walls.ive moved the bed. and im still not done! =p

i wish i knew =)

There are special packets on sale with tools for setting it up and a hook it can hang from but I didn’t buy that sadly. I’m still trying to figure out how to hang it up, since it has to hang from a wall that is cement, NOT brick (otherwise it’ll collapse). Two of the walls across from each other in my room are cement so I’m thinking of setting up a long wooden pole that will be attached at either end onto these walls, and not only can I hang my hammock on it, but also windchimes (which I love) or beaded strands and stuff. This way, I will also be able to move the hammock up and down (imagine moving a ring up and down a pencil, cant explain it any other way).ive added a picture for you to see because there are different types of hammocks. This design is ideal because it doesn’t take up too much space and is quite beautiful.
I think a hammock would be great for your room. It’s not entirely my idea, they’re widely popular around here. I havent seen them in bedrooms however, just in gardens.
