I am starting feel like I’m just an anomaly.
30D. Its not so strange. I can sometimes find a 32 D, which sort of fits.
I’m hoping perhaps to shrink into a C…but I haven’t really seen any 30 C’s either.

All their bras start at 32. I guess I need to bulk up my upper body…that seems to be the message I’m getting.

that makes bras for people who wear those very-fashionable tiny sizes. Have you tried googling 30D to see what you get?
...just tried it and got a lot of stuff about Canon 30D cameras…oops… but then googled “30D bras” and several sites, all offering special sizes came up.

I was bra shopping and looking for 30B – but all a’s and then at the end was one 30D!!! lol try TJ MAXX?
I think almost everybody struggles with proper bra fit. Why can’t I find just one perfect bra. They either make me have “back fat” or my boob squishes out a little on top or the strap doesn’t stay on my shoulder right or the wire is cutting into me…you get the picture, it’s always something. Maybe we should just declare tomorrow “Don’t Wear a Bra Day” in protest :o)...or we could do it on October 31…might be easier to get away with it on Halloween.

I actually came across your entry looking for someplace that sells 30Ds. Now I feel less like a freak. :) I suspect I need a 30 rather than a 32; even on the tightest hook, the 32 roams around. But I’ve never managed to find a 30 (except for the A cups, and we passed A many, many years ago).
Did you have any luck finding a 30D that fits? I’ve been leery of ordering one through the mail because they all seem to cost a fortune and it’s such a hassle to keep sending things back when they don’t fit…not to mention that you generally lose the shipping. But it sure would be nice to find one that I don’t have to tug at all day!

I found two that fit. They are both, however, running bras and very restrictive…
The enell bra in a size 0 and also a Moving comfort bra, the fiona.
Measure your chest right under your breasts and that is the number you need.
Oh yes, the FIona is about 35 us and I think the enell is 75… I got them as testers from my local fleet feet…

Hm…well, I could also use a running bra that fits, but since I’m not up to the bouncy exercises yet, it’s a lower priority. :)
I’d always heard you were supposed to add 5 inches to the rib measurement to get your band size, in which case I’d wear a 32. But I know from years of practice that I need something smaller. (Those same charts also tell me I need a A cup. There’s no way I’m getting these things in an A. Someone needs to re-evaluate those charts!)
I found a 30D on figleaves.com that looks more like the kind of bra I want, and it’s only $26. I’ll have to hit the piggy bank and try it out!

About the adding 5 inches…
I got a bra from fig leaves, just a warning…
and it was those crazy demi cups…which of course if you have an endowment, don’t hold it in properly…

I found a different sizing chart, which says that your band size is the circumference of your ribs – not your ribs plus 5 inches. Which puts me in something like a 28DD. (Gosh, I wish that were as impressive as it sounds!) The problem is that there’s really not much selection in that size…and why are so many of them padded?!
I think I’ll start with the 30D and go from there. As a last resort, I can just keep tugging at my 32s…I’m used to it. :)
