This is my primary mode of keeping in touch. I like letters too, but when I just can’t make the time/info commitment, or when all I really want to say is some approximation of “hi, I’m thinking about you,” postcards do the trick. Also, whenever I go somewhere even remotely interesting, I try to send at least a few postcards out. I think of it as sharing my vacation with others, at least in some small way.

What a great idea. Wouldn’t it be fun to make your own postcards too and then send them out?
