relearn perl
A brief history lesson

At one point, perl was my life, my bread and butter. I could code in pure line noise and it was good. The data was mine, the computer was mine, the internet was mine, and Perl was the conduit through which I could control.

A career change and a life change later, and bit rot has set in. I’ve forgotten more perl than I knew (if that’s possible), and feel like I’m at ground zero again. I don’t want to forget any more – perl was a part of my computer upbringing. I’m returning to it, not for the sake of a career (though I’m open to offers :) ), but for the sheer Joy of Perl. I yearn to code again.
