I adore children. I can’t wait to have kids! It’s not a biological clock thing, it’s not a commitment thing – it’s just me, I want to have some. And if I don’t have my own, I’m going to have to adopt! I can’t figure out how this is going to affect gradschool plans, but it has to happen.

wow! I wish I knew whether I wanted children or not. Personally, I’m not ready for that kind of commitment… I haven’t even found the person I want to be with. I’ve met Mr. Right Now, Mr. Slimeball, Mr. Asian-Fetish, Mr. Nice-But-Could-Be-Gay… just no Mr. Right. Maybe that’s because I’m still not a Miss Right.
No way then is it possible for me to have children!
You can’t say that you want to have a lot of children if you do not have even one. I am not saying this in a mean way. I have one, the one beauty in the pic <. She is so amazing but having a child and being selfless is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Every step that I take in life is for my child.
I said that I wanted three before I had her. I think that I want to try just one more now! Don’t get me wrong, just looking at her still brings me to tears but she is a handfull!

I come from a pretty large family with lots of younger cousins. Having had to care for my younger brother and the cousins for quite awhile, I can’t imagine not having lots of kids around.
I’m really sure that i WANT lots of children. Being selfless is not the challenge for me – never has been when it comes to serving others. The biggest one that I can foresee is providing my children with the best their lives can offer them.
I know plenty of people who wanted and have large families. All of my kids able to think that far ahead say they want lots of kids. They can know this at their age because they already know what it’s like to have lots of kids around, including what it’s like to have to pitch in and work and help out with those kids. But because they’re living it, they also see the value in it, and want it for themselves.
