Spend two years thinking

I sort-of did this whilst living in France for two years. Although I had distractions and work for part of the time, it gave me the opportunity to think up ideas to embark on a [potenial] new stage of my life. But to do it properly I’d really need to find a hut in some beautifully desolate place, and that I’d like.

Join the Armed Forces.

You’ll be forced to think about things you may have only sensed or learned in the abstract.

Also, you’ll have plenty of time to think, especially during guard duty, long runs, marches, and those wee hours of the morning when you’re waiting for formation or stand to.

Besides, your country, your queen, need you. Christendom needs you. Western Culture needs you. Democracy needs you. Globalism and the G-8 need you. (O.K. enough already, lol).
