We flew into JFK on 29th June and spent the night in Brooklyn. We got the chance to walk around the area the next day and found a cool organic shop that sold vegan stuff so we stocked up. Then we sat on the promenade which looked over onto Manhattan. I love this view. We kept seeing loadsa helicopters flying about then disapearing and we couldn’t understand where they were going until i noticed the helicopter base across the river! It would of been nice to walk across Brooklyn Bridge but we didn’t have time as we had to leave for Troy. We came back to New York on the 11/12th July this time staying in Queens. We went into Manhattan everyday but it was muggy and one day we kept getting stuck in thunderstorms. I prefered my last trip to NY so i think Ny’s a city I’d much rather go to in autumn/winter when its cold! But on the last day we found this really really good healthfood shop in manhattan but sadly we only got to spend a few mins in there because we had to go back to catch our flight. I’d like to go to NY again but when it’s not hot!
