I’m a volunteer at the Downtown Boathouse, which is a non-profit dedicated to providing free public access to the waterfront. We are indeed running paddling days in Hoboken at Frank Sinatra park. We’re doing it 6 times this summer, and there are three left (July 30th is the next I believe).

But you can also come across the river to Tribeca, where we are open almost everyday and offer classes once a week.

I actually trained for the NYC Triathlon two years ago in part to SWIM in the Hudson…but the rain washed too much bacteria into the water to make it swimmable! Wah. So this year, I do it! I get as close as I can to my beloved body of water. I’ll check out the article, too…but see you in Tribeca!
