I tried this with my mother-in-law last night. That woman, whom I do love dearly, can make talking about boiling water into an hour long “conversation” (which is usually one way).

I’d ask more and more questions with each random topic she brought up, and I’m glad I did. I found out some interesting info about two of our uncles and found out more about how my FIL’s job is going.

I've been...

to my husband’s town a hundred times. Well, one day I had to go to the house of someone I didn’t know and made the mistake of asking her directions.
She went on, for 30 minutes and gave me a play by play of each store I’d pass, what they sell, what she’s purchased there in the past, etc. How long each stoplight should last if I get stuck at red, etc.

She loves to just talk and talk and talk…gotta love her though!
