He’s the younger bro of my other cat, adopted when older fellow was a year old. I’ve never seen male cats do this, but they groom each other.
My son says they’re gay. Sigh.

My two female cats groom each other, but it usually turns into a smackfest before they are through.
Now this guy is a beautiful kitty. I thought at first that he was solid black, but I see russet highlights in his fur . . . gorgeous!
2 tiny spots of white, one on his tummy and the other a bowtie. Very distinguished.
Yes, smackfest is a good description. Mine eventually usually make each other a little mad, but I think they enjoy the mad. What does your other kitty look like?
I have no idea why people have dogs when they could have kitties. I’m working at home this morning, with Inspector poised like an Egyptian statute on the side of my desk, staring down at my fingers like he’s trying to decide if he approves of my writing or not. It’s very supportive somehow.
