my first thought on how to do this is to have a small shindig and invite peeps that live within walking distance of each other. i’ve been meaning to do this for a while, but kept getting distracted. once the holidays are over i think i will have a small low-key event for the ~12 households that i am aware of near us.

what i think of as my immediate neighborhood is a box made up of ~18th (west), jefferson (south), ~24th (east), madison (north). if you live within those bounds or are interested in meeting people in those we are having our first get together on sunday. let me know.
