Katy and I are in the process of having a ring specially designed and crafted for us. The process may take a few months, but there is definitely progress on this goal.

She wants a reverse cradle design (the wedding band interlocks with the engagement ring) made of platinum with flowery filigree (stil working out which flower) and the bands will be celtic knotwork with a viny or leafy design (to go with the flowers on her engagement ring).

The ring sounds spectacular! Sounds like you two have good tastes.

My husband gave me a lovely ring as well for my engagement/wedding. It wasn’t expensive… but, we did pick it out together and as soon as I saw it I thought it was perfect! I had looked at more expensive ones and they didn’t strike me well. Then, I realized that I think a small well-cut shiny diamond is more beautiful than a huge dull one. I can see all the colours in my diamond… it just sparkles and it has little diamond chips around both sides in a cute design part way down. Also, I hate the colour of gold so my husband made sure we got white gold. I’ll try to post a picture.

*edited to say I should clarify… that pic is my husband holding our ring up in front of me.

Not quite sure. We’re debating eloping because we don’t want to wait any more to be married. The ring we were created got put on hold because my father became ill and I was tending to him. Now, we’re sort of in limbo and figuring out a plan.
