plant a magnolia tree
Untitled 3 years ago

I planted a Magnolia tree about 3 yrs ago. This year it has lots of blooms. The flowers are beautiful, and they have a nice delicate scent. They don’t last more than a couple of days. It is an evergreen tree, which I like. It does shed it’s leaves, this bothers some people. I don’t mind. I just run the lawn mower over them. It makes great mulch. I guess mine must be about 8 ft tall at it’s tallest point. It seems to be fairly fast growing. Someday after I am long gone, I hope it will be a stately shade tree

Stopping and smelling the flowers

must be easier when they are right outside your door! Looks beautiful, one day I hope to have my own garden. Never thought I’d say that, didn’t think I could ever be bothered with all that work, but seeing what a cheer it adds and how welcoming it makes a home look before you even go through the front door I am reconsidering.

Lynda has gotten 1 cheer on this entry.
