find the meaning of life by making my own life more meaningful (read all 2 entries…)
What does success really mean for you? 3 years ago

Success is to laugh often and much

To win the respect of people and the affection of children

To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends

To appreciate beauty

To find the best in others

To leave the world a better place

To know everyone you loved has breathed easier because you have lived

This is to have succeeded

I wanted to cheer this...

...but, I have none left…
cheerity cheer cheer!

Thank you :D

The most important thing is, you liked this entry and we all can learn something from it! ;)

P.S. I want to cheer you too, but for some reasons, the cheer goblin was able to give me 2 cheers only(had to return to those who cheered me earlier) despite having a few ppl cheered for me already for the whole day( unless they disappeared when I didn’t log on long enough to check? )..And some times I would strangely receive like 45 cheers when there weren’t many ppl cheering me..Very Strange..

I can not figure out...

...this mystery…to save my life. This mystery…and my printer mystery…this is truely a monday full of “opportunities for solutions”...uh hu.

Haha!!

Haha, you are so funny!!.. Me too, That’s what makes the world a mystery place, so many mystery to solve, including my printer too!! I could only scan it but no printing for so many weeks, as it kept saying they couldn’t clean themselves internally :( ....So the mystery is solved when I sent in for repair lol..Hehe, I realise I am just being lazy sometimes to get things organized and prioritized!!

P.S. Hehe, I used others’ cheers to cheer you first :P..but I will definitely cheer them back later!

here is one back to you!

my cheers are trickling in one at a time.

I was doing fine this morning…printing away, having a good ole time…and then, the black started looking a little “sad”...so, I changed the big black cartridge and the little one too (they were both out of ink…or, almost) when I went to print with my brand new fresh ink…nothing! Just blank pages! I tried putting the old ones back in…blank pages again…I wonder what in the heck I did…

PeterAndSophie have adopted SimonAndPaisley into the tribe!

For those who were curious....

The quotation is adapted from the writing of Ralph Waldo Emerson (born 1803, died 1882), an American essayist and poet.

smile

Nope

Thank you for your comment PeterandSophie!

A clarification of what you said there, but the quotation is NOT adapted from the writing of Ralph Waldo Emerson. (I would have quoted it’s from him earlier). I quoted it from a book I read before, and beneath it says “anon”(meaning remains ‘anonymous’)

Sorry, I don’t read this Emerson guy’s works because I don’t know who he is. Even if you check the website, they can tell you that this quote has been so inaccurately attributed to this Emerson guy. They are almost certainly the quote is not from Emerson, it’s untraceable.

Hence that’s why the modern book I read has put as (anon)... thought I should share this beautiful quote with everyone here…Thanks! =)

I have this card in my wallet! Absolute brilliance.

Ah..

Good point, maybe I should make it into a card too and carry along in my wallet to serve as a daily reminder!!

Thanks for the light bulb moment! ;)

It's an American Greetings novelty

Says Carlton Cards on the back too. I should look at it more. Inspirational.

Here’s a scan I just made of it…

Wow cool !!

So nice of you to do that, save my trouble of doing the art work lol

Now I can carry this pretty card like a bible ;) Thank you so much!!

P.S. Will need to come back and cheer you as I have 0 cheers in my a/c now!

You're welcome!

Happy to help. I have been carrying it around for about 5 years.
