Saturday night cost 4700.00. This included food, drinks, servers, renting out the space, gratuities, clean up…..
We ate a lot more then I budjeted for and Rick did not charge me extra because we also bought a ton of his alcohol….

Sunday BBQ 1000.00 food, drinks, paper products, park permit…..

Tent rentals 400.00
DJ 600.00
Clown 200.00
Name tags 90.00
bubbles and ice 90.00
tips roughly 60.00
Folks that overpaid to keep me out of the hole….. 285.00
After sending money back to these people that I have 165.00.

Sunshine on Saturday and Sunday PRICELESS

I was hoping this could cover phone calls, websites I joined…. Any little bill I forgot to record.

Does anyone who helped track people down need to be reimbursed for phone?

So, folks this is a pool of your money tell me what to do with it what’s left…........

Once again, thank you everyone for a great weekend, I hope you and your families had a great time…....

Tess, now retired from reunion planning….... FOREVER!!!! :)

Special thanks to Sloan, Lisa, Rochene, Graham and Weston for donating food, bbq’s and tables etc….. on Sunday…....

$$$$$

Teresa, how about after you reimburse those that overpaid, and reimb people for expenses (including yourself), so that everyone is squared up, you give what is leftover to Brother Francis Shelter?

Thanks again for all your hard work, you did a great job.

Chris

your rule!

Thanks for the accounting and handling the whole organization of the reunion. I could barely get my ticket up to Anchorage—you’ve been working on this for months and I know everyone totally appreciates all your hard work.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I agree with Chris. You can send the extra funds to the Brother Francis Shelter.

Nicole Forsi is skulking around 43 things

squared

I made a few phone calls and sent a few letters, but I’d MUCH rather have the change sent to charity! I don’t need any reimbursement.

Thanks for everything Theresa! It was a great weekend!!!!!!

Amazing Planner!

Thank you for organizing all the events, you were awesome and everything ran smoothly. You even managed to stop the rain with your super powers!

Honestly, I appreciate the hard work you put into making the reunion memorable and it paid off. Thanks again!

Hi, it’s Mark. Here’s an idea, Open an account and put the money there for the 25 year. Who ever wants to run/organize that event will have something to start with… All events were fun Thanx to all… Mark and family..

Hmmmm!

I think all of those ideas are great, but holy cow! What a lot of time and effort it took on your part! I say treat yourself to a pedicure/manicure ($50 w/ tip at Cali nails) and have a nice meal at Club Paris! : )

Or, see if you can buy the rights to the group picture! I don’t want to spring for the whole CD, but I’d love just a 5×7 or 8×10 of us at the park! : )Nena

i love you!!!!!

thanks Nena… I appreciate you thinking of me….. :)

AGREE!! AGREE!!

Teresa,

Your generosity of time and energy…not to mention your spirit. I second the motion that you should do something special to pamper yourself for all your dedication to making this event memorable for so many. I know I APPRECIATE you so very much. Thank you for doing so much.

Thanks

Teresa,

I wasn’t able to come, but I did get a lot out of hearing from people and findingout what everyone was up to. Thanks a million for your efforts in putting this together.

Ditto all of the above

Can’t add anymore to what was already said. Make sure you take care of those who helped out up in AK by taking them out for happy hour somewhere.

Anything left over give to a charity. Maybe even to West High – could we buy a Kevin Ellis masterpiece and donate it to the school or a complete set of Maktub CD’s or maybe photography lessons from Norm or…hell just do what your gut tells you and we’ll still support you in the morning.

Thank you so much!

Teresa – phenomenal job. Thanks! And Dan, I echo everything Christina said about creating the online ice breaker. It’s been fun. And thanks to every one who showed concern about my flights. I clearly bitched and moaned a lot, judging from the number of people who asked how the flights went! We’d do it again in a minute. We had a great time, and it was fun to catch up with every one. Some of the highlights and observations from my point of view:

1) Jenny Ross is a super competent mom. She was at that family picnic alone with her three kids, and she wasn’t even crying, and she clearly could just as easily had 30 kids with her.
2) We have a lot of bald dudes in our class, and every last one of you look 100 times better than you did in high school. Who would have thought!? It’s a great look!
3) Dale Topkok – you do not scare me anymore.
4) There is no party ambience like the West Anchorage suburban rec room/basement. I was trying to figure out how to bottle it, so I could sell it back east.

Thanks for the compliment, Katie. I guess those sedatives I gave the kids before the picnic really worked! :-)
I’m still impressed that you got your kid to sleep at the park. Did they sleep on the plane for you too? Mine don’t like to sleep on planes until about 20 minutes before we land…go figure…
I agree with you about the guys in our class. Bald is beautiful. It was so much fun to see everyone and their kids!! I guess that West High/Alaska education really paid off. Everyone has done really well over the last 20 years. I’m looking forward to the next one.
And the next time I’m in New York I’m passing by the condom store to stop by and see you.

Jenny

I hope you do stop by -

if you’re ever in NYC. Gunnar put my baby to sleep. He rubbed her little toes, and she gazed at his bald head, and she fell asleep. I’ve tried to do that since, and it doesn’t work for me.

Insert random Katie shaving her head joke

HERE !.

Somebody stop me!

I was just about to insert that random bald Katie joke here. Thanks for stopping me and showing me the error of my ways, Hal.

Jenny

If I Were A Carpenter

No bald jokes, Hal. No comment other than to say that I too have consumed If I Were A Carpenter. And it is an outstanding compilation of goodness.

Great Job Teresa

Teresa, you did a great and thankless job organizing the reunion, my instinct is that you take the leftover money to replenish the hefty dent that your planning “help” put into your wine stash (Who was that guy?). Of course charity isn’t a bad idea either. Regardless, my vote is for you to do what you think is best. I truly hope we continue to get together, I have really enjoyed finding that someone else with kids the same age lives nearby.

Weston

Whatever Sicilian Sissy

Teresa’s so great, Teresa’s so wonderful, Teresa did so much. Blah Blah Blah. Please. That girl is already so full of herself, damn Sicilian. How about give the $165 to the people who hauled around 895 pounds of groceries for the reunion? Or cleaned her house out? Or drank her $400 bottles of wine that were years and years old – not even any of the new stuff? WHAT is Nena thinking, giving it back to you?
Okay, all fun aside, I guess you did an okay job. No for real this time: You got MY ass up there, and that’s saying something. Okay, okay: I’ll give credit where credit’s due…your best friend is awesome, where’d you find her? Oh Alright…..YOU ARE A SUPER SICILIAN AND THIS WAS AN EVENT TO BE CHERISHED AND MEMORIALIZED AND RANKED RIGHT UP THERE WITH ALL MAJOR HISTORICAL EVENTS IN THE LAST DECADE. I love you Teresa, you know that. You did a great job and there was evidence of that in all the fun our classmates had. Go ahead, keep the $165…buy me a present with it. :)

So, just so we’re clear: you’re doing the 25th Reunion, too?
