I need to admit, I’ve fallen off the track a little bit.
My excuses are moving to a new place (relocating, even within the same city, is a major pain) and dating an awesome guy who is taking a lot of my time.
I have not gained anything – I actually finally have fallen slightly below 150 – had the scale pointing 149.6 the other day, which did make me feel good. I’ve been eating out a little more than before, but I’ve been pretty good about avoiding fat, desserts, and loads of bad carbs. My exercise schedule has been pretty random, mostly because it’s hard to wake up to exercise before work when you spend a couple of nights a week with someone very special.
This week will remain not so good, since I’m still running shopping errands for upcoming trip.. and the week after is the big trip back home, so that one will be out of shape week for sure.
But when I come back and weigh myself, the gym guy will give me a new exercise program, and I will start working again.
My goal is to get to 135, and my ideal muscular weight is 125. But I’ll be happy in 135. 15 more lb to go! I can do it!
Comments:
Congratulations, your doing really well.
What I don’t understand is how your new boyfriend only weighs 130lbs…. is he a jockey??
Cheers, comments abound!
Congrats on success thus far and mentally gauging your weight status given all of your other life transitions. I too found it a huge challenge balancing ‘awesome guy’ and diet. I wasn’t as mindful as you are; falling in love made me crave seconds of everything with chocolate & cheese. Ah live, learn, re-learn. Enjoy your joy! ... and that new work-out plan.
