Now that i have been made aware of my hoarding i seem to be conscious about my behaviour around it and i no longer just buy stuff and bring it in the house without ‘knowing’ that i will need to free up space for it. its working pretty well so far

My sis is being swallowed by her own clutter
I have a simular problem but it’s with my sister. She hourds everthing she has a 3 bedroom house alone and every room is full of things.
She keeps asking for help and when I do try we end up falling out because she just takes everything back out of the recycle. I try to encourage her to give to good causes etc but its actually painfull to watch her hurting because she has to give something away.
It has got to the point that her fridge is half full of sauces etc that are sometimes as much as years out of date. She eats food that is out of date rather than throw it in the bin, but yet she often buys clothes and leaves them in the carrier receipt and all for years because she bought the wrong size and never got round to taking it back to the shop.
I feel sorry for her and want to help but then I also think I have a problem because I should just let her get on with in.
I have visions of her being suck in her home, having to walk sidewards down the hallway full clutter.
