This year I developed a cool little app with Ruby on Rails for the customer service department at the company that I work for. It received enough attention that I was offered to move into the engineering department developing Java applications.

It’s been a bit hairy learning Java from scratch and trying to be productive as early as possible, but I’m learning loads and more importantly having fun!

So I guess, I’m learning to maximise the amount of time that I have, although I still have a long way to go.
