It’s not the kind of thing that’s ever occured to me before, but since discovering that i live pretty much around the corner from an allotment) site, the idea of having a bit of land where i could grow stuff and get dirty and be a bit green is growing on me.

Is that old sounding??

Whatever. Gardening is supposed to make people happier, and i want some of that.

For people outside of the uk, and allotment is basically a plot of land you rent that you can grow stuff on.

Comments:

Excellent idea

Maybe you could add a modern touch to yours to make it look a bit less glum. The ones one botley rd look like they should be condemned or at least modernised a bit.

that's like me

walking past allotments on way to station ever day, feeling envious… one day i thought – hang on, you don’t HAVE to be old!

ive had one for 3 years now i love it. old people have the best ideas.
