Try Kimchi
Not sure when I first tried it 3 years ago

I was probably like 6 months old or something. Anyway, I’ve been eating kimchi since then, but I am Korean. I have a fairly high tolerance for spicy foods, so I don’t think most types of kimchi are all that spicy.

I do highly recommend everyone to at least try kimchi.

Definitely

worth trying!

(We had so much fun visiting a Korean barbecue place here in Chicago. I had to count all the little veggie/relish dishes they brought out to accompany the meat, because it was a crazy number—I think 22.)

If you need something to jolt you awake, kimchi should do it, huh?

I've told friends

If I were ever working at a restaurant as a dishwasher, I’d definitely NOT work at a Korean restaurant. Even if you have two people, if you order the right dish, you could have up to 32 dishes to wash!

I just got a gallon jar of kimchee this weekend. Good stuff.

kimchee

My High school roommate was from Korea. (Dunno N or S…but she had just come and was homesick a lot). She used to make these super spicy noodles and such that I could not really digest well! Impressive.

ha ha

I love all spicy foods. It’s really a matter of tolerance and getting your body used to eating and digesting a dish like that instead of just dropping a bowl full of spicy noodles into your stomach and saying, “Go!”

yakuza has gotten 7 cheers on this entry.
