Start a company that survives longer than 2 years (read all 3 entries…)
Yay, 2 years today 3 years ago

Business has been very good in the last 6 months. I’ve just hired a fulltime employee and am trying to cope with the work. Major lessons:
1. Once you got some work going, alwyas make sure that you as a resource (the business) are scarce for your clients, not the other way around. I’m still chipping away at projects that I have entered into when I was desperate for work – 1.5 years ago!!!

2. (Similar to 1) It all comes down how a relationship has been established. Who does the follow up calling, once the project is underway (us), who manages the task lists of what we and the client have to contribute to a project, how prompt go invoices out, how promptly are they paid, how promptly are errors fixed. Do this right at the start and each customer experience is like a breeze!
