I have been sorting clothes and counted 22 t-shirts that I would consider “staying home” attire. I have neatly folded them and put on my closet shelf. I know that at least half of them must go, but having trouble letting go.

taking on TO is dealing with changes!
i did the same thing...
try and let them go bit by bit…find 5 that you’re ok with parting with…
then next week, try another 5…or put 10 on your shelf and put 12 away…if you don’t think…oh my god, i’m going to miss that one in the next few weeks, you know you’re ok to let them go!
good luck, streamlining is hard to do but so worth it!!
16 black v neck tees
Does a girl need 16 black v neck tees? They really are all subtly different, and they do fade, stretch out, etc, but I do have to stop this habit!
I did get rid of all but a few of my ” staying home” tees, and don’t miss them.
As a grown-up I don’t want to wear anything that advertises a product or states an opinion, and wearing worn out or stained things, even at home, is sort of demoralizing. I think you’ll feel better if you get rid of everything ( or almost) that’s not fit to wear in public. You’ll reduce clutter and feel better about what you wear at home.
