I love some of your goals and this one struck me as important, very important.

I think theres so many people out “there” that bitch, moan and complain about who’s elected to office but they didnt even vote, or if they did vote, they guessed on what was on the ballot because they didnt educate themselves.
I live in Florida and am a democrat married to a disgruntled republican. Match made in heaven, right? He’s in the military, which I respect, but I am anti-war. We disagree on everything but at least we TALK.

I think the state of Florida is particularly in bad shape these days thanks to politicians—Jeb Bush in particular. They have interferred in our educational system with the FCAT testing (theres a brilliant plan, not). And now its mandatory for 8th graders to choose a “major” so they can stream line their education. I dont know about you but when I was in college I didnt even chose a major until I was a sophomore, so to have 13 year olds do it now is ridiculous!!!
Then we have health care reform, the insurance stuff and money they want to spend that we just do not have.
With the elections coming up and our candidates are pretty slim pickings if you ask me.
Anyways, I am rambling for a coffee induced speed session so forgive me. What I meant to say was EXCELLENT goal! Bravo!
