Midi bagpipes. I saw a few links today but my browser crashed before I could take note of them.

I’m not sure which way to go, but I’m leaning towards the bagpipes. No celtic blood I’m afraid :(
Almost EVERYONE says they’re horrible, what do they know :P Haven’t made a move on them though. Do you play them? Or the uillean pipes?
Yes I’ve been to the UK – did a tour with friends of Ireland and Scotland, I studied in England for two years as well :)
I thought Edinburgh was fantastic.
And I really like haggis. :P

are the uillean pipes easier to learn?
I really like the droning sound of the highland bagpipes though. Whether or not this will be diluted by eventually learning the pipes will remain to be seen.
Battered haggis is the yum for sure!! What will you be studying in London? I studied at Leeds Uni.
I have a feeling the uillean pipes are harder to come by the already difficult-to-find GHB here in Malaysia.
