Ayleesha Looking forward to preparing for Compostelle or Machu Picchu!
Anyone of us can help. Everybody has a skill they can teach or use to help people in need in countries like Africa and other Third World Countries and help make poverty, hunger, easily preventable diseases, malnutrition and whatever else history.
I was thinking about all that and the environment. We have solar powered cars, houses, and a lot of other stuff. Why couldn’t Third World Countries have that too? Why not help them build solar/wind powered greenhouses, teach them to grow their own foods, plants, medicinal plants, grains, etc, teach them about composting and reusing organic materials to make new material. Also help build “green” houses for them to live in. Build water conservation facilities. They could reuse the water they use to water plants, crops, etc. Build water/air purification/filtration systems. Everything could be solar/wind powered.
If I knew how to build a greenhouse (something I plan on learning in the future), a house or whatever else, I’d be over there in two seconds flat, helping in any way I could.
It’s one thing to have ideas about helping Third World Countries, but it’s another thing to have the means to carry out the ideas.
