practice on my bass more (read all 3 entries…)
"it never ends "~ anonymous

this goes out to all us , last night i had a very amazing conversation with a friend. See he does martial arts as his hobbies. At some point of the conversation we got to the the subject about practice and how is best applied to any craft. He told me about this ideal that a bamboo reed is much stronger than an oak tree at first was skeptical but once his made his case i decided to spread the word. look at it this way in a storm the oak tree may stand tall and firmly in quite the strong winds but after a while it will fall or up root un like the bamboo that does not fight against the wind but bends with it allowing the wind to pass but not once letting its self fall. now apply this to the bass and you learn something you don’t have to strain you self just chose a small time limit to which you can play with out cut off your life. don’t let this consume you more work with you self and time to play when you can it does not have to be for hours on end just know you getting better every day but the practice, “it never ends” .
