was a ver active plasma donor when I was a child so I spent lots of time talking to the nurses and eating free juice and cookies while dad donated. When I was old enough, the civic duty of donating blood and later, plasma took over and I was a fairly regualr donor. There’s been a few things that have interupted my committment to the Canadian Blood Services (formerly the Red Cross)... Currently, it is a tattoo that I am getting completed which will make me ineligible for the next year or two… The other is my training… Being tired and not using my arm for the rest of the day is sometimes impossible…
The one thing I have been trying to get organized enough and make time to do is get on the Bone Marrow Registry… This is so important… :)
