My family and I have created 2 years ago

art postcards for this goal. My little ones really did a beautiful job and I am almost sad to send them off to a complete stranger buut I think everyone should have access to art no matter what their circumstance. I am sending them all in one envelope since I have decided it will keep them from getting defaced in the post.

I am really proud of X and T for putting so much kindness and caring into their pieces for Mr. Crawford. I hope it can give him some joy too.

the secret to that is

you are artistic, just playing with color on a page is art. Art doesn’t have to be pretty, remember that. And I have heard people say ‘I can’t even draw a straight line!’ well it just so happens the ones that aren’t straight are the most interesting. So dodn’t ever be afraid to be artistic even if you think it isn’t artistic enough.

danka ever so much! I really wanted to send a smile and since art is what makes me smile and it tends to communicate past all boundaries I felt it was the best way to achieve that without being trite or stupid.

I decided to send one next week. I feel like I have left it far too long, since I added this goal a year ago.

The pictures are really inspiring. It’s such a nice thing to nurture compassion and care in children. Yey for Mum! :)
