I told Artis that I would come back and have a beer with him… he was looking forward to that moment. I was running a few days late coming back from Warsaw because I went through Vilnius, Lithuania.

I didn’t have the time I had thought… so I will go back and finish what I started. I just sent them a bottle of California wine. I have only met him one time for a day.. six years ago. I have never met Anete.. although I have spoken to her many times on the phone. I call her every few months to check in.

I remember one time that I sent Artis a small bottle of Makers Mark Whiskey… he sent the message back to me: “bottle too small… send more.”

Speaking of Denver..~ this is me and 5 friends at the Great American Beer Fest in Denver… check out the guy wearing the cape. He went to a beer festival and wore a cape damn that is cool.
