Motivation is easier in groups, is it not? If you give me a friendly kick up the arse, I promise to return the favour :)
In the meantime, I will start the ball rolling by getting back into a routine. I used to be reasonably fit, but I’ve been ultra-inactive recently, so I want to do this very gradually and not do myself any damage. I’ll start by walking 20 minutes each day and try to add 10 minutes each week.
As for timing, I’ve been thinking about this one… It’s still too cold (being the dead of Canberra winter!) to walk in the morning. 4.00 PM each day is a realistic time.
I graduate in about five weeks, so at this rate I should be up to about 50 minutes. Which will be fantastic. Looking forward to the energy benefits especially!
