I wasn’t exposed to religion growoing up and I learned to develop judgement instead of appreciation. Now that I’m in my late 20’s I feel as though I need something bigger than myself to live for. I recently visited my Unversity’s minister and have begun a self lead spiritual journey. I’m not focusing on Eastern or Western, but a combination of both. This Sunday I am going to an Episcopal church, and next Sunday I got tickets to the Dalai Lama…whose autobiography I will have hopefully have read by the lecture. I talk to someone everyday and feel their presence around me…I know there is someone listening, and I want to become closer to whomever that may be.
