My wife and I have been waiting on this day for months. July 5th is exactly six months from the date we plan to leave the country (US) on a year-long trip around the world. I’ve been hesitant to talk about in public until now, but we figure 6 months is good timing.

We’re starting in New Zealand and Australia and heading over to India and up through Asia from January to June or so. Then, we go overland from Beijing to Moscow and througout Europe over the summer. Then… we’re not sure yet…

6 months from today. That almost seems unreal after so much anticipation.
