Wow, I’m going to win the title ‘Downer for Team 13’! Apologies for being self absorbed/negative. After a 2 hour power walk, I just feel huge-ish, with loving but always-eats-candy-bar spouse not into exercise. But I can’t blame his choices for my attitude or my ability to be healthy. Time to read the mindful, positive entries from Niel’s funeral gig…

Here's your ‘Downer for Team 13’ tiara and sash, darls...
Seriously, you know you’re not dull, old or poofy (which I think might have a diff meaning over in the US than it does in Aust!). And way to completely overlook your amazing acheivement – a two hour powerwalk? My lord, woman, that would send me to a hyperbaric chamber! What a sensational effort!
Seems to me like you’re actually doing really well. You’re considering your choices, motivations and strategies while doing some sensational exercise. Every day and every choice works towards your goal and I think you’re doing really well.
On second thoughts, I don’t think you’re ready for that tiara and sash… ;o)
!
You are fabulous….thx for the wit and perspective and I cheer for Aust in football!
the spouse...
mine does that too—fluffy hot bread at 10 p.m. Ben and Jerry’s runs. What’s a girl to do? I swear it’s come to the point where I can hear him eating tortilla chips when I’m in another room with the door closed and earphones on. Doritos. The Cool Ranch kind.
"Honey - have a piece! It's the weekend."
—to continue with: Doritoes washed down with one or two Snickers bars. —Last night, pepperoni pizza was freshly delivered with extra sauce…
Saboteurs!
I’m trying to convince myself that strawberries with just a bit of cream is a satisfying desert, meanwhile he is spooning up great big mouthfuls of double chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream – grrrr! They must be afraid we will end up totally fab and fit and run off with someone else!! ;-D
