I finally sent off the application reqeusting details of all the information on my credit file. I have a lot of companies & agencies to get in contact with but it has to be done.

I have to repair my credit history and this is the first step. I guess I have been fooling myself into thinking that it was never going to be an issue for me. Thinking that I would never grow into the ‘Adult’ that worried about being refused services based on my credit scoring but I so freaking am. I have grown into exactly that which I thought I would not.

I am not going to be forced to get a mortgage through my Mother’s name because no bank will touch me with a barge pole. I shall do all I have to do to rectify this situation. And yes, that means paying every single company I owe money to.

I started with Scottish Power yesterday paid off the outstanding bill of £226.89 from when I moved to another gas company.

I bought an e-book of ebay about repairing my credit rating in the quickest steps and even though the bulk of the info is not relevant to my own situation, there is still some new steps that I now feel that I can take that I was not aware of before.

I got myself into this mess and only I can get myself out.
