There is a small storage room on our ground floor that I am redecorating into a home office and a guest room. I did a lot in August, but other activites have taken precedence since then.

In one corner there will be room for a small desk for my computer, and along the longest wall there will be something between a captains bed and a sofa, with a fold down bunk on the wall above it.

That way the room will have a sofa with headspace during the day, as well as big drawers for storage, and room for two guests sleeping there at night.

I will build this myself, thus my goal of build a piece of furniture.

The room will also feature a z-scale (1:220) model railroad on narrow (55 mm) shelves around the room just under (70 mm) the ceiling, just for fun. The corners will have curves with an inside radius of 180 mm.
