Well… here we are folks. There had to be a first. Someone just had to start begging… just flat begging… that’s what this is: begging. Everyone else has walked by me.
What are you going to do?
I scanned your blog, and saw the Mothers Day entry. What a great idea! A group of us meet weekly at our local coffee shop (the Hayseed Cafe) and try to help our friends. Last week we bought, hauled, and chopped wood for an elderly woman after she had three cords of wood stolen.
Taking flowers to the nursing home is right up our alley. Thanks! Susan
It’s our obligation to help them. We must do that. We will all be in thier situation faster than we care to be.
Once you take flowers for Mother’s Day… you gotta do Fathers day too. I found that there were 67 women at that retirement home and 19 men.
We learned how to do it better for fathers day. Mother’s Day with 67 flower arrangements was very busy for the two of us… we didnt get to spend the time that we wanted. For fathers day… we spent plenty of time with the old men and talked to them about their lives. It was very cool.
Best wishes,
~lg!
This picture is really evocative. Where did you get it? I am amazed at some of the images that are posted on 43.
I like photos and situations that are impressionistic. I tend to gravitate towards them. The photo you asked about was done by GordonLogue. Although I get them at different places, I always catalog by name and date.
I too am amazed at some of the images posted on 43.
Thanks for the cheer on my “cheer my goal” goal… it’s begging.. but I am not above that. =)
