Sapporo is a great city and it swells and swells and swells during the snow festival. I lived there five years so I saw my share of these. It doesnt take more than a day to really see everything though. There’s a particular pleasure to seeing the snow festival, having a nice bowl of sapporo ramen or yakitori in a smokey little hole in the wall, and then tossing down a few drinks near or in Suskino.
