I am going to go to cardiff, am on a bit of a mission, have something fabulous in mind, with regards to shoes, well boots really, and I need some new clothes too. But I am so buying some heels, have to, not too high though. Just high enough…

Studies say

that high heels may contribute to knee and back problems, disabling injuries in falls, shortened calf muscles, and an awkward, unnatural gait. In time, high heels may cause enough changes in the feet to impair their proper function. Most women admit high heels make their feet hurt, but they tolerate the discomfort in order to look taller, stylish, and more professional. In a Gallup Poll, 37 percent of the women surveyed said they would continue to wear high heels, even though they did not think them comfortable.

All I know is that high heels drive my ex-boyfriend crazy…in that “let me kiss your toes” sort of way…

and that last part

my dear, is the important thing.

:)

I agree with you

yes, I do dress up for myself, because I do like to look nice. I’m already tall so as of late (and due to a back injury) I tend to stick with flats, simply because I’m more comfortable that way.

Anyway, all the new styles of cute little shoes look sort of weird in size 10 1/2.

There is a time for “big girl” shoes. I usually stand about 6ft 2in in proper high heels. It is quite intimidating to some…bwa ha haaaaa…
