Polaroids are a present constant, but this project is not front and center yet (goal number one is hugging all my attention these days). In the in-between moments though, I am taking photos and seeing themes develop. I have much to learn about the ins and outs of publishing-a-book, and so for now, am ok with the taking photos part and figuring the rest later.
I’ve known several folks that have used http://lulu.com/ for publishing their own book, one was even a photo book, and they’ve been happy at how it looks, and the process
Hi Bill, I am familiar with Lulu (I think I was first introduced to them through JPG Magazine…), but haven’t actually bought anything from the site and hence have no visual reference on how good the quality is. It’s a good idea to check it out, I might be happy with the results. Thanks for the encouragement! ;-)
Yep, I think it was through JPG magazine that I heard of them first as well. And more recently, some flickr friends put this photo book together and sold it through LuLu. It seems they must treat photos well if many folks are using them to publish.
