I was in the Army, on a fire fighting mission near Kalispell, Montana. I was transporting firefighters back to the base camp, driving on the side of a mountain on a dirt road. I looked to my right and down below I saw a moose near a stream! I got so excited when I saw that moose! I completely stopped the truck to get a look at it. Needless to say, the firefighters weren’t as interested in the wildlife as I was, so we moved along shortly. Last summer I went up to Grand Teton and Yellowsone National Parks and had the chance to see 4 more moose, including a baby! I was just as excited this past summer as I was the first time I saw a moose. :)
